SISTERHOOD- DOES IT REALLY EXIST!!!

As I sat in my car, listening to this sister blurt out this madness, I thot to myself, “Can sisterhood ever be revamped”. I don’t know who sang the song but I was really irritated and sad about it. And it kinda got me thinking……

Underneath all the glam, makeup and gal talk I sometimes wonder if we girls really got each others back. You know the way guys do. How come it isn’t the same way with girls?

I love my friends don’t get mi wrong, but with girls there is always competition- we say something and really mean the opposite.Here goes.........

Nice dress –We mean - who the fuck does she thinks she is flaunting her shape
Nice shoes- We mean - Who dash monkey, I’m sure it’s her sisters/cousin uhn borrow borrow
You’ve lost weight, you must let mi in on ur secret - we mean - “kai, owu done blow dis girl ooo she looks sick, abi she done get Aids
Nice sunglasses - we mean - Aristo chick she done work her butt off to buy glasses
Your makeup is so nice - we mean – hmm, see as she resemble masquerade, bet she did it in the dark.
And the list goes on.........

With guys it’s totally different, when a guy says nice shoe to a fellow guy he really means it and he’ll probably ask where he got it from so he can go there and buy his.

With the ever declining sisterhood, I don’t know if it is possible to revamp the attitude of these females.

Women just feel that we are in a competition with the female next door. Imagine your husband having a female friend. This type of competition can run u amok. If you have insecurities about your sense of identity and talents, then you may fell she’s treading on your tuff.
And there is also the case of the mother in law that has forgotten she used to be a daughter in law. We women just love to make life difficult (like its not difficult enuf already) for our fellow sisters.

So the question bloggsville is can we ever refurbish our declining sisterhood!!!
